Barakah Advisory & Accountancy is a boutique advisory and accountancy practice established to primarily serve Muslim business owners who value Shariah compliance alongside professional accountancy and financial advisory services.
Our aim is to support Muslim entrepreneurs by integrating sound accounting practice and financial advisory with Shariah-aware guidance.
While conventional accountancy often focuses narrowly on compliance and financial outcomes, Muslim business owners frequently face additional concerns — questions around riba, zakat, contractual clarity, as well as ethical decision-making. When these issues remain unaddressed, they can create uncertainty and discomfort.
We therefore provide robust professional accounting and financial advisory services, including: bookkeeping; payroll; statutory accounts; and tax filings; alongside Shariah-aware support such as: zakat calculations; partnership structuring; contract reviews; and guidance on operating one’s business in a Shariah-compliant manner.
We also work alongside qualified scholars and professionals so that clients receive sound guidance when navigating complex financial or ethical matters.
This approach reflects a long-standing Islamic tradition in which commerce and knowledge were closely connected, and traders sought guidance when matters were unclear.
Consequently, Barakah Advisory & Accountancy is an intentionally small and focused practice. We work with a limited number of clients so that relationships remain personal, thoughtful, and grounded in amanah. This firm may not be suitable for every business, and that is by design.
